For more than 45 years this locally owned and operated hardware store on Spruce Street, was kept by Vinod Doolabh, originally from Central Africa. When Vino retired in 2020 to spend time with his grandchildren, General Supply became part of the Miller Bowie Supply Company family.

Miller Bowie Supply’s owners and staff are passionate about supporting downtown local businesses and the downtown revival of Texarkana. The goal was to not only preserve the business of General Supply, but also to preserve the heritage appearance of the store, including keeping the name.
